Big Ass Game of Skate competition full rules:

The rules of each match are full park game of S.K.A.T.E however scoring is done differently:

Getting a letter: -3 points
Giving a letter: +5 points
Winning a game: + 15 points
Losing a game: -5 points

Other ways to gain leaderboard points:

Wearing any branded That Skateshop merch to your game: +2 points
Giving a letter while skating with your pants down: +8 points (no base letter giving points)
Winning a game with your pants down the entire game: +22 points (no base winning points)
Adding any event promotion to your instagram story then tagging us: +2 points (One maximum use)

Rules of a game of S.K.A.T.E:

1.Each game starts with a game of rock paper sissors to decide who will go first.
2.The winner will do a trick or a line and the opponent will have to complete the same exact trick and if they do not land it they get a letter.
3. Letters stack in order of S.K.A.T.E
4. This goes on until the starting player either fails to land a trick first try or wins the game, If the player fails the other player does their own trick and so on and so forth.
5. You win the game by giving your opponent all five letters.
6. All players get two tries to recreate their opponents trick on their last letter (E)

Competition Rules:

1. Show up your match 30 minutes early in order to warmup, no warmup time will be provided at your scheduled time.
2. You must follow all game of S.K.A.T.E as outlined above.
3. All tricks must be with a skateboard in the skate park area.
4. You MUST call the trick your attempting to do before doing the trick.
5. If you do not show up to your match within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time you automatically forfeit all five letters and the game.
6. By purchasing the Big Ass Game Of Skate Entry Ticket you agree to abide by all these rules and understand that no prize is gaurunteed and is a merit based competition.
7. Hate speech or any form of violence will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.
8. Have fun, this entire competition is meant to be goofy so just relax and enjoy the game.

Prize Rules:

At the end of October 2025 That Skateshop LC will announce competition winners by top three highest points on the leaderboard. The prize options are as follows:

1st Place: $150 cash or $175 That Skateshop LC store credit or $75 Cash and $80 That Skateshop LC store credit.

2nd Place: $50 Cash or $70 That Skateshop LC store credit

3rd Place: $30 That Skateshop LC Store Credit

We have put this competition together for the enjoyment of the community, entry fees are designed simply to pay off the cost of the prize pool. We hope everyone has a great time throughout this competition and we can highlight some great talent.
